Trading day

When we heard about trading day we were all excited. I decided to be in a group with Ruby .M and Sabine. We were making icy snow cones. Ruby .M said she has a blender, Sabine said she would get the cups and the spoons and I said that I would get the ice. One day after school we went to Ruby .M to see if our product design would work. ALL fingers are crossed that it works. We were lucky it worked. After a lot of preparing it was trading day on Friday the 19Th. When trading day started was the first one to go and get our products. I brought a lot of sherbet. Then I went to our shop to help sell.

Cross crountry

On cross country it took a long time for it to get to the ten year. When Freya said could the ten year old come to the starting line wanted it to take longer for our race to happen. When I was at the staring line I had acrobats flipping about in my tummy. when Dave said 1,2,3 go I ran as fast as I could .I run around the back field, up willow walk, up the side steps, through the adventure and round the front field. We had to do that again. It was hard work. I came 8th.

Not long ago the Olympics was on, but now sadley the Olympics have finished. It was on the 8th minuite of the 8th hour, on the 8th day and the 8th month of the 2008. In the Olymlipics I didn't watch mutch sport, but the sports that I saw were rowing, gymnastics and maybe a few more sports. It's great to know that New Zealand got a few medals to.

My ski trip at Cadrona

When we got to the bottom of the road it was so bumpy because it's not a proper road. It took ages to get to the top the Cadrona road. When we got to the top of the road it was about minus three degrees. It was FREEZING! We got our ski top and pants on. Then we went to get our lift passes. It was so fast to get the lift passes, but to get the skis and boots took half an hour. We were in a ski school for four days and this was our first skiing in the school and skiing in the winter. When we got outside we couldn't see a metre in front of us because it was so foggy. We got our skis on and set off. I was in the yellow groop and that means that i'm a really good skier. We started on Mc Dougalls and then we went to Whitestar. We started to do J turns, that is when you go straight down the hill and turn your skis sideways. Some of us started to get cold so we went in for a hot chocolate. We had lunch while we were in there, then we went out and did some more skiing. After we did some moguls. They were hard, but he told us a better way of doing it. It was freaky at the start but then it was easy. We did the moguls about three more times then we did a few more runs. At last we went down the bumpy road and went back to the house that we were staying at.It was a great day skiing.

On Thursday the 27 Th room 7 went to camp our camp was at Cable Bay when our cars came we rushed to put our bags in the car we hoped in the car and set off for Cable Bay camp site.When we got there it was spitting we had to put our tents up in the rain it was not very nice.then we went down to the beach and made shelters to make the shelters we had one tarpaulin one meter of cord one meter of string three bamboo sticks after everyone had been drenched we went back to camp and had lunch.Then we went to a man house and had a look at it and he had a pig. The next day we went up Pepin island. It was a long walk but it was worth it.
